(Podcasting) Georgia Vidler

This week, we had the privilege of interviewing an extraordinary individual, Georgia Vidler, co-founder of Human Health. Human Health is revolutionizing the way we manage chronic health conditions with its innovative app.

Our conversation with Georgia delved deep into her early motivations, founder psychology, relationships, challenges, and much more. Sharing her story publicly was daunting for Georgia, but she was amazing on this pod!

This interview marks a full-circle moment for her and her co-founder, Kate Lambridis, as they work on a mission closely tied to their family histories. Before founding Human Health, Georgia was the Head of Product at Canva, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her new venture.

Watch the podcast on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts.

Healthcare is in dire need of reform, and Georgia Vidler is on a mission to fix it. Over $100 billion of government funds are spent on healthcare in Australia, yet the system remains impersonal and inefficient.

Human Health aims to change that with their patient-first approach.

In 2022, Human Health raised an impressive $10 million from prominent investors like Airtree, Skip Capital, David Shein, Dan Fitzgerald, and Everywhere Ventures. They offer a free, invaluable service with optional paid upgrades, ensuring accessibility for all. This strategy has already attracted a global user base, achieving one million health actions tracked by their community in just one year.

Build in Public: Episode #4

Episode Four of our Build in Public series is also up. It’s a candid podcast chronicling our journey of building a tech company as best friends. Join us as we dive into the highs, lows, insights, and the funny moments in between.

This week we explored relationships as a founder and work-life balance!

Building in Public

This Week at Kindling

We’re super energized by pushing the bounds with a few innovative content types:

Inviting people into our Build in Public conversations: Vulnerable and more funny, conversational chats that show the real us.

Increasingly cinematic content: We’re experimenting with more cinematic styles, trying to validate this approach.

Continuing our vlogs: Keeping up with our engaging, behind-the-scenes vlogs.

What’s been challenging:

Getting world-class guests from the States: It’s tough! High demand means people get a lot of requests.

Growing our social accounts: It’s harder than ever. A few years ago, a TikTok account could easily get 3 million+ views in a month. Now, it’s a different ball game. Any feedback? We’d love to hear from you!
